For convenience, let’s break the procedure down into several stages:

– registration and setting up a page for the public;
– launching a group chat in Instagram Direct;
– adding and removing participants.

Let’s consider each of them separately.

Setting up and designing a group

If you have decided to get involved in chat administration, you will need to create a separate business account for your community. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Launch the social network application and click “Sign Up”.
  2. Enter your phone number or email address. They must be valid, as you will receive an email with a hyperlink to confirm the procedure.
  3. Create a username and page name. It is advisable to use a suitable name for your direction.
  4. Enter a password and complete the procedure.

You need to switch to a commercial account immediately. To do this:

  1. Tap on the icon in the form of a “person” and click on the menu button.
  2. Go to settings and open the “Accounts” section.
  3. Scroll down and select “Switch to a professional account”.
  4. Link your Facebook page. Without this, the account change will not occur.
  5. Save changes.

If desired, you can permanently get rid of the community page. In case you really need it, then:

  1. Click on the “person” icon and click on the menu button.
  2. Open settings and click on the “Help” section.
  3. Go to the “Help Center” and select “Account Management”.
  4. Follow the link “How to delete your account?”.
  5. Determine the type of blocking: permanent or temporary.
  6. Indicate the reason why you want to leave the social network.
  7. Enter your password and tap “OK”.

Important. If you choose the temporary option, you have 30 days to log in. Otherwise, your profile will be completely deleted.
