How to add a cover for Reels
There are several ways to accomplish the task at hand. Each of them involves a clear sequence of actions. To change the cover before publication, you need to:
- At the initial stage, record the desired video using the Stories camera. To do this, press the right arrow key to confirm the action, and then tap on the arrow located in the upper right corner of the image.
- To make changes, tap on the graphic image of the cover located on the left side.
At the next stage, users determine the priority path on their own. For example, by using a frame from the video or an image from the gallery.
Selecting a frame from a Reels video
A clear sequence of actions includes:
- Clicking on the “Share” button.
- The system automatically opens the “Cover” section.
- To select a frame, it is necessary to swipe along the strip of frames located at the bottom. As a result, an automatic set of frames is formed, which are available from the video.
- After that, it is necessary to click on the desired frame with subsequent verification for compliance. The preview function will allow you to perform the task set.
After sorting is complete, click on the “Done” button located in the upper right corner. In the next step, click the “Share” button to initiate the upload of your personal video to Rils. The selected video is automatically displayed with the set cover in the Rils subsection of the registered personal account.
Selecting an image for upload
If it is not possible to select a desired graphic image for the cover from the available video, developers suggest using the function of uploading a favorite image for subsequent installation on a personally created video. The instruction provides the following sequence of actions:
- Initially, it is necessary to go to the section of covers for a personal video Rils. To do this, click on the cover field located inside the “Share” screen.
- The system does not automatically display a list of graphic images that can be added. Users need to scroll down to the bottom of the page and then click on the button to add from the gallery.
- The desired graphic image is selected from the presented list.
- After the procedure is completed, click the “Done” button.
After making changes, users can easily change covers if necessary. To do this, it is necessary to upload personal reels with the selected graphic image, and then click on the “Share” button located at the bottom of the page. As a result, the available list is displayed, which was previously uploaded to the personal registered account.
How to change after publishing a video
The developers of the social network do not allow editing or making changes to the graphic image set as a cover if a video is posted. Correction of the Rils video is provided in limited functionality.
Each registered user has the right to change:
- personal location;
- captions;
- user tags when editing the Rils video, which is previously uploaded to the personal registered account tab.
If users plan to change the cover after preliminary publication, there is only one option – to delete it initially and then upload it again. To accomplish this task, follow the following instructions:
