Ways to add multiple photos to one story

The social network Instagram has become so ingrained in people’s lives that many not only communicate there, but also earn money and run their own businesses. If this is exactly what you prefer to do, then to promote your account, you will definitely need to learn more about some of the features of the application. For example, how to add multiple photos to Instagram stories.

Let’s take a photo on Instagram together

Let’s start with how to turn several Instagram photos into one and immediately post it in your story. Most users have probably heard of the technique called collage.

A collage is an image composed of 3-4 small pictures.

It is still incredibly popular and convenient. You can see the entire process of preparing a restaurant dish at once, for example, without scrolling through a 5-minute post.

You don’t need any skills to create a similar collage, just download a third-party editing tool. Popular ones include:

• Layout;
• FotoCollage.

Both are aimed directly at creating collages and applying filters to them.

For convenience, let’s look separately at how to work in each of them.

Layout:

1. Take your mobile device and unlock the screen.
2. Launch Layout.
3. Read the introductory information.
4. Select the desired photos from your device’s gallery by checking them.
5. In the upper part, choose the collage model and click on it.
6. Edit: mirror, flip images, add a frame and make it thinner or thicker.
7. Click “Save” and “Share”.
8. Select Instagram from the suggested list.
9. Choose “Story”.
10. Share the collage in the Instagram app.

FotoCollage:

1. Open the FotoCollage app on your phone.
2. Edit the pictures if necessary in the “Editing” section. You can add emojis, animal faces, enlarge proportions, add a frame and background, write text, and use a filter.
3. Save the changes and go back to the software menu.
4. Select “Collage” and check the photos you like.
5. Change the position of the pictures, add a frame, update the background to your liking.
6. Confirm the changes.
7. Scroll down to the “Share” column and click on the Instagram icon.
8. Click on “Stories” and publish the post.

Now let’s move on to the main topic: adding multiple photos to Instagram stories. There are two ways to post such a video. Let’s take a closer look at each one.

First (via iPhone and Android):

1. Unlock your smartphone and open the device’s file system. It is usually called “Explorer”.
2. Go to the gallery and find the necessary images.
3. Select the desired number of pictures and click “Send” or “Share”.
4. Choose “Instagram” and “Stories”.
5. Filter them in the social network’s editor.
6. Determine the category of recipients and click the “Publish” icon.

Second (via iPhone and Android):

1. Launch the official social network application.
2. Log in with your username and password.
3. Go to the main feed and tap on the avatar icon at the top of the screen. This will take you to the story shooting mode.
4. Swipe up from the bottom to open the gallery.
5. Hold down the desired image and check the boxes on the rest that you like.
6. Edit the material: add hashtags, location, etc.
7. Select friends who can view your story.
8. Tap the “Share” button.

Useful to know. If you don’t remember your login information, click on the “Forgot Password” option. The system will send an SMS code to restore access.

Third (via PC), if you have Windows 10:

1. Open the downloaded Instagram application.
2. Log in and click on the “camera” icon at the top of the screen.
3. Select all suitable photos.
4. Edit the pictures.
5. Scroll down to the “Recipients” column.
6. Check “Your Story”.
7. Click the “Send” button.

Fourth (via PC), if you have Windows 8 and below:

1. Download the BlueStacks 4 Android game emulator and Total Commander file manager.
2. Launch the installed utility and log in to your Gmail account.
3. In the Google Play Store (which can be found on the “Home” screen in BlueStacks), type “Instagram” in the search bar and download the official social network application.
4. Log in to Instagram and click on your avatar icon in the main feed.
5. Add several pictures to your story and edit them if desired.
6. Publish the video.

Important. Only download third-party utilities on your PC from trusted sources.

These are all the ways that allow you to fit 3-4 images into one social network story. Choose the one you like and go for it.
